Why would you use a baseball finger splint?

This splint is designed for an injury where the thin tendon that straightens the finger is damaged, this is commonly known as 'baseball finger'. This happens when an object hit or has a big impact on the tip of the finger and it bends more than it should.

How does this splint help baseball finger?

The splint works to straighten the finger and the finger realign to the shape of the splint. Also, the wrap around sections stabilise and secure the finger in place, whilst the end of the splint protects the tip from further injury. The foam material ensures a comfortable fit. The splints are also adjustable to ensure a good fit and as the swelling reduces, you can adjust the splint accordingly.
