The CoolMeds Global case has undergone rigorous testing and validation to ensure it maintains the 2-8°C temperature range effectively for 30 to 36 hours. Constructed from high-quality materials with multiple layers of insulation to provide maximum protection for your medication.
To prevent overcooling the insulation and cool cage absorb initial excess cold and distribute it evenly throughout the medication. This maintains a stable 2-8°C environment for your medication.
Usage Tips:
- If you require more than 30 hours of temperature control, avoid placing medication in the two outermost sections of the cool cage, block off these outer sections by using the removable dividers provided.
- For 60ml bottles, position their lids towards the two outer sections to keep the liquid medication in the coldest areas.
A fluted cool cage is included, which is useful for transporting medication boxes that should not be exposed to light. It can accommodate boxes measuring up to 204 (L) x 53 (W) x 160 (H) mm.
The case includes specially ribbed CoolMeds cold packs that flank the cool cage. These packs help guard against overcooling by maintaining a buffer zone between the frozen cold packs and the cool cage. Do not use any other type of cold pack in the Global case. These cold packs should be replaced every 24 months as the gel denatures over time.
It is highly recommended to perform at least one trial run before your journey to ensure you are familiar with using the case, especially the conditioning of the cold packs. This will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
